Hi you guys :)

Sorry I've been absent over the past couple of weeks.  I guess it's that time of the year when there are far too many things to do and far too little time to do them in.

Good news, however.  My part-time schedule has been approved at work and it looks like as early as the end of this week I will be working M-W at my current job and writing for pay the other two days per week.  Wow.  All I've ever wanted to be since I was age 4, is a writer.  I have to say, it feels as great as I have always hoped it would.

This site is going to become more dynamic and full-bodied with regular updates and new features very soon.  The response we've received about this project has been wholly positive.  I am so grateful to those who have helped make it happen as they continue to be of tremendous support and encouragement to me here and on a daily basis.  I know the BEST people.

I'm pushing back losing weight for charity to January 1 along with several other things that will be appearing in a few weeks.  I'm very excited about everything that is coming and I sincerely hope you will bear with me during the crazy, hectic month of December to see those things come to fruition.

We'll be talking about a couple of very exciting projects that are in the works.  The Peas are working on a cookbook entitled "Dirty Dishes" and I've started a supplement to my book which will illustrate the motivations as they are fulfilled, complete with photos and interviews with these incredible people.  You'll get to see the logo we shaved into Brandon's hair this weekend and the cards that Katie's classes made for me.  I have a margarita and pedicure party coming up and we'll be sure to capture that as well as the other motivations as they come to pass.  I'm very excited about this project because it will give me an opportunity to really show you who these people are and why I am the luckiest woman alive to know them.

Another announcement:  My birthday is February 11th and that is the day I will be publishing the new "during" pictures on the site.  I'm also planning a rather substantial 39th birthday blow-out this year.  I feel I have so much to celebrate.  I'm going to post an open invitation on the site to any of you who may be interested in coming but you'll have to let me know if you plan to attend so we can make proper arrangements to accomodate everyone. 

The details and location will only go out to those who email me directly as I will not be posting that information on the site.  Whether you're a motivator, family member, long-lost friend or someone who has been following my story and have never met me, you are invited to share this event with me.  Keep the weekend of the 11th open if you interested in attending.  I think it's going to be a great time :)

And finally, I've met someone.  That's all I'm saying right now, except that he is the most gorgeous person I've ever had the pleasure of knowing, in every sense of the word.  It's new.  It's exciting.  It feels great.  We'll see how it goes.  There might just be an insanely happy ending in this for me, yet.  Cross your fingers ;)
