(roses given to me from The Peas Friday)
Happy Birthday #189!
What a great time we had at the kick-off event! Clover and I were each complaining of sore-face syndrome by the end of the evening from laughing so much. It was a lot of fun to watch so many of my co-workers let loose a bit have a blast!
There was even tipsy hill rolling! When I was a kid we used to roll down the hill next to my house. In honor of my newly regained physical abilities, I rolled down the hill. It wasn't pretty, but I did it (nearly giving myself a concussion and broken ribs while doing it too! lol) Others, discovered the inner kid in them and tried it too! It was pretty funny :) I don't have pictures yet because the peas haven't sent them yet, so be patient! They're coming!
The food was great. In honor of the vegetables theme we had many gorgeous and colorful dishes that tasted great! Many thanks to Mark, #193 for serving dilligently as our Grill Master through, rain and hail and dark of night (ok, there was no rain or hail and we did finally find a flashlight). What a fine job he did!
Also, many thanks to Alessiah's mom for the fine artwork that was displayed and illuminated throughout the house and garden. I hope to have more pictures of that to show too!
Thanks to The Peas & Heather for everything, again, as usual. Whether it's hauling supplies around, arranging vegetables, researching or managing databases, you guys are so solid, you make granite look wimpy.
Some NEW things going on this week. My first article, Shae's teen page for healthy snacks, many new motivations added, a new contest for the motivators and winner of the September drawing announced! Check the home page for links. Hope you like what you see! Hope you're having a great weekend!
Warmest regards,
Pamela
