Pamela's entry for January 1st (well for me it is, anyway)

Today begins my New Year's resolution so to speak.  I am not at all prepared for this mentally and am off to a rocky start already.  I lost a file while updating the site and had to redo the work so I missed time on the treadmill this morning.

I have managed to pack snacks for today and I think I'll scrape through.

I'm already crabby about this.

Oh, and by the way, I've not started to like vegetables at all.  That was a moment of hormonally induced insanity.  I'm better now.  Vegetables taste like ground.  Bleh.

Have a good one (I know I won't),

Pamela

Hi Pam,

Your Challenge reminds me a bit of vacations with the boys when they were young. It all started with our excitement about the unknown ahead. All packed up in the car, healthy snacks included, the excitement quickly turned into frustration, aggravation and a longing for it all to be over. One thing I remember from our trips in the car … the longer the trip, the sweeter the arrival home *BS*

Chin up girl! *S* I’ll all be a bad memory before you know it!

Hey my beautiful friend, and I mean that, I've had a tough month as you know and yesterday my father-in-law had a heart attack. He is my husband's hero and he is terrified. I know you are your kids' hero as well. Just think how many more days of a loving mother you are giving them everytime you make a healthy decision-it matters so much. I am so impressed with you. I heard once that admiration and respect were the true "symptoms" of loving someone, and I have that for you, and I think at least a hundred other people do too.
